Back in August, about 70 containers of G & C Raw pet food were recalled over concerns about possible listeria contamination. Now we’ve received word that the recall has greatly expanded.

The expanded recall now covers every dog and cat food that G & C Raw made between Feb. 27 and July 20, 2018.

The FDA announcement states that this is a “precaution,” adding that there have been no reported pet sicknesses and that “pets with Listeria monocytogenes infections are rare.”

The products were distributed through direct delivery in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia and Illinois.
