What was recalled: 2 lb. bags of Quest Cat Food Prey Model Beef Diet, frozen bite size nuggets (UPC #6-91730-17101-8), only Lot #N128

The company says this recall is limited only to a single lot number: #N128. The affected products were distributed through retail stores across the United States.

The recall was initiated following a positive test for salmonella by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. “No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem,” according to the recall announcement.

If you have any of the affected products, do not feed them to your cat. Instead, return the bags to the store you purchased them from, or call the company at 801-432-7478 for refund information.
