What was recalled: 2 lb. chubs of Albright’s Raw Dog Food Chicken Recipe for Dogs, Lot #C000185, best by May 19, 2021
According to the recall announcement, 67 cases of this frozen raw dog food are being recalled after testing from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration found salmonella in a sample of the product. At least one pet, but no human, has been sickened so far.
If you have any of the product with the lot code and date listed above, discontinue feeding it. Instead, return it to the place of purchase for a refund, or call Albright’s Raw Dog Food at (260) 422-9440 for more information.
The product was distributed in July and August 2020 to consumers in California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania and Tennessee through retail stores, online merchants and direct delivery.
